Hello and thank you all so much for joining me! In today’s blog I am going to talk to you all about how I do my ribbon bow & hangers for the top of the ornament. Aside from adding charms and embellishments (see that blog here), the bow & hanger is the finishing touch of your ornament. It is beautiful, functional, and it gives you the opportunity to add a ton of flair to your completed product. These look just terrific hanging from a display stand, or better yet, on your Christmas tree!
I create 3 types of bows & hangers and they are as follows: the Classic Bow & Hanger, the Twirl Bow & Hanger, and the Reverse Twirl Bow & Hanger. The Classic is simple and elegant and is a breeze to put together. The Twirl has just a touch more work to it (though it has only 1 bow), but it is worth the effort—it looks completely different from the Classic and adds a new touch to your ornament. The Reverse Twirl is my very favorite bow and it requires the most work. This bow will let you create 2 bows and place them on your ornament in such a way that the points stick out and make a beautiful effect. Please see the pictures below for example of each of these beautiful bows.
